New Children’s Play Garden

The artful work shown in the photos was created by Doris Stahl, garden member and chair of the horticulture and compost committees, and volunteer gardeners for the small children in The Spring Gardens, and it looks like it could be so much fun! The new play garden can be found in the plot right behind the children’s garden tables near the middle of the garden. To the right, is a picture of one of the play attractions – a bean-plant teepee!  A perfect spot for all sorts of make believe and imaginative play, and it even houses two comfy small children’s chairs.  The second play structure (below) is in the same plot and is a flower- and vine-covered tunnel – again, a perfect spot for some great make believe and play for our youngest gardeners and their friends. All children are welcome to come take a look and play in the plant structures if they would like to.
